Scheduling Engine

Constraint-based fleet and hangar optimisation with OR-Tools, schedule scenarios, and capacity planning.

Overview

Go beyond calendar scheduling. The AirOS Scheduling Engine uses constraint-based optimisation (OR-Tools) to propose fleet and maintenance schedules that respect certifications, capacity, and operational rules.

Branch and compare schedule scenarios like version control, analyse trade-offs before committing, and align hangar and engineering capacity with Maintrol work package planning — so planners optimise utilisation instead of manually resolving clashes.

Features

  • OR-Tools Optimisation: CP-SAT constraint solver for fleet, crew, and maintenance scheduling proposals
  • Schedule Plans: Git-style branch, commit, and merge schedule scenarios before go-live
  • Hangar & Engineering Capacity: Visualise and optimise hangar slots and engineering team capacity
  • Scenario Analysis: Compare schedule versions side-by-side with impact summaries
  • Maintrol Integration: Connect optimised schedules with work package planning and critical path
  • Reflow & Proposals: Generate and review scheduling proposals when constraints change
